Good Morning everyone. Happy Anniversary, the Scentias, you’ll definitely have lots of smiles today. ??
May your worrying turn to relief soon, Sar. Blue are you sure you can take all that excitement...and a Sainsbury’s order? ? lots and lots of snow, which I think - even if you have little to do - can be very tiring. Lots of jabs/jags/shots. Good on you all! I shall be mainly trialling a new super vaccine for the 27th variant, ‘COVID 19/zpq456789, which will be en route from the far side of Mars at some point in future. I promise to tell you all about it once I have immunity. A current vaccine? Well, that’s obviously more problematical. My tiny, stubby fingers bear witness to the amount of time I spend online searching for an appointment but I shall try not to let it take over my life completely. ? Onwards and upwards, sideways and possibly backwards, GF. Am I downhearted? You betcha. A bit.
I had a wonderful experience with my paint delivery. Unpacked the many boxes of paint ordered which was finally, and expensively prised from the sweaty paws of the Douane and then after a huge payment, Decidely Hopeless Logistics in Marseille, after they had held our large and expensive order to ransom for too long. Small cheers could even be heard from our suppliers in the UK. Boxes had arrived here in the rain and delivered by a driver who clearly was moonlighting from his job with the fire brigade, judging by the speed at which he drove away.
You can imagine our dismay when we found no fewer than 4 x 5l tins of paint, burst open and paint running and congealing everywhere. Another 7 tins were bashed, crushed or dented.
Boxes torn, damaged, re-sealed. The particular supplier normally sends at least £500,000 worth of paint abroad via that carrier every year. We’ve had so much from them in perfect order during our 20 years in France - and before. We’ll get our money back, but such a waste!
Second delivery of the day.....much joy. Will show you tomorrow.
Mary good news and what a spirit-lifter after endless drama. Try to keep cheerful and don’t over exert yourself.
Everyone unwell, sad or troubled....may you have a better day. I shall wish hard for you. x ?
Keep safe, sane and ? smiley, if you can.
?♀️ Hugs
