We are getting a new radio station.

The 30s was a good time for music, wish it would make a comeback.

Thanks PamelaJ1. I've downloaded the phone app. I was a huge fan of Nicky Horne's Your Mother Wouldn't Like It on Capital Radio in the 70s and 80s. I'm hoping he'll be playng the same kind of music.

The 80s are very much my era, and the first few years of the 90s. But objectively I think that the 70s were by far the best decade, as it had so many different active genres.
When I listen to The Sounds of the 60s on Radio 2, which I regularly do, I'm often taken by how similar many of the songs sound very alike.

Not for me, I like music from many years, including now.

I haven’t heard of the Andrew Neil either.
It seems to be like buses, I wonder when station no.3 will turn up?

What about us over 75s?! In the 1980s or ‘90s there was a station playing the music of the 1950s and ‘60s which was great but declined, for lack of use I think. Does anyone remember it?

Thought you were going to be referring to the new news one that Andrew Neil is involved with but maybe that will be on telly.

I used to like hearing music from my youth, as it wasn't played often.
In recent years, tho, I seem to hear it all the time and I'm pretty fed up of it.
