I love my conservatory

I was never into conservatories until we moved to our present home and now find that we use it quite a lot. We also had the plastic roof replaced with glass but are now thinking of having a proper roof put on it. The reason for this is that it is so hot in the Summer and freezing in the Winter, even though there is a radiator in there.

I'm so glad to hear that you love your conservatory as much as I do. We live in a bungalow and ours facing into back garden. We are quite private as we have fir trees and our neighbour has them too

I love our conservatory too.Definitely my favourite room in the house.Today we didn’t even need the heater on as the sun was shining in.I have loved sitting in there in lockdown, reading, watching the birds.Oh and watching DH working in the garden!!

I love ours too. I went in there this morning and it was so cosy, with the sun streaming in. It has central heating, so we use it all year round.
It's my favourite room in the house.

Oh i love mine as well. We had it built on 20 years ago. Didn't really need the space as we have a large house but it was the best thing we ever did to the house. We live in there in summer and used to close it off between November and February. Although you could heat it it never felt cosy and the florr was freezing.
Last October we spent some money and had electric under floor heating fitted, wow it's even better. Been sitting in there this week warm as toast looking at the snow.

We have heating in ours so it’s a lovely room all year, comfy sofas too.

My old house had a conservatory and I spent a lot of time in there. My favourite place. I don't have one now.

I hope you have oranges in it!

No, my dream house would not have a conservatory or log burner but it would have a good sized utility room for white goods, drying washing and keeping dog paraphernalia.

Mine is just a conservatory I’m afraid ixion! But yes, polomint, I do love it. We had the old plasticky roof replaced with glass a couple of years age and I love watching the sky and birds. It is at the front of the house, but shielded by shrubs - we can see people going up the road but are quite hidden from them, or so we think!

Ah, but we call them 'orangeries' round here??

I love my conservatory. It was built around 20 years ago and it's the place I love most in my house. It's so peaceful, I could sit there for hours. Even today when the snow is lying but the sun is shining and a beautiful blue sky, it's nice. I put radiator on for a little while and at the moment I am having a coffee and cake and just enjoying the moment. If others have a conservatory, do they feel the same way?
