I came across this photo of Edward Scissorhands and realised that atm we share the same hairstyle. Who do you share your current hairstyle with?

Oh-oh.
I really must learn not to be impetuous.
Fed up with the Dulux dog look and with all the sticky-up bits that wouldn't lie down flat, I picked up my razor-comb this morning and made a few sweeping strokes....

Hmm. I think "Tatty 'ead" just about sums it up.
Anyone know if it's going to get cold again so I can keep my woolly hat on?

I've gone full circle with my hair now, it's the same as it was when I was about 16. I'm definitely rocking the aging hippy look atm! Mr Rebel now looks like Freddie Boswell of Bread fame smile

I had a pessimistic outlook last March about how long this would go on so since then I started to grow mine and I have a lovely pony tail now and just keep the fringe short.

Helmet head like the hair on a lego figure!

I have fine hair which for years I've worn it clipped up or in a ponytail. I need to wash it every 3 days otherwise it looks awful. My fringe has now grown out totally, it's the only thing I miss.

I don't colour my hair as when I decided to let my blonde colour grow out & go back to my mousy brown except it didn't, it's now a mix of blonde & grey which I like, hairdressers always ask if I've had my hair colouredconfused

Only problem I have is that newly washed it's hard to keep a clip in, they keep slipping so I'm forever having to put it back upgrin

Hair like long Spanish moss - kept under (some) control with kid's tangle spray!

Fairly close to a highland cow, or maybe the dulux dog

The way I used to look first thing in the morning is how I now look all day! The only time I go out is to walk the dog and I wear a hat.

Leo Sayer a la fifty shades of grey

Jaxjacky Mon 15-Feb-21 20:29:03

Me, complete with glasses in the mornings.

TyneAngel Mon 15-Feb-21 19:58:53

Oor Wullie, or maybe his gran.

I share my hairstyle with a silvery-grey version of Dougal, the dog from the Magic Roundabout. I tried chopping into the fringe but it now sticks up and the sides are thick, bushy and dragging on my shoulders. I daren't look at the back.

Nannytopsy - me too. I added a hair slide to my Tesco online food delivery! Needs must!

Sunnysideup Mon 15-Feb-21 19:29:50

Gone back to my childhood and wearing a ponytail!

FranT Mon 15-Feb-21 18:21:14

Worzel Gummidge, just about covers it, even down to the wispy beard, (thank goodness for tweezers)!

Shizam Mon 15-Feb-21 18:13:54

A bewigged high court judge when I’ve just washed it. Looks much better when dirty. ?‍♀️

Theoddbird Mon 15-Feb-21 17:03:49

I aim for a vintage look. Not sure if it is working though. Lumps of hair pinned up in little claw clips or with a scarf tied round. If I let it loose is definitely Albert Einstein on a bad day.

MiniDriver56 Mon 15-Feb-21 15:53:30

Me too!

Betty O'Barley from the brilliant Julia Donaldson book Scarecrows Wedding. I know this as my 3 year old granddaughter told me so yesterday!!!!

This morning I took the bull by the horns and cut 3 inches off the back of my medium length hair.
It was like a thatch.
It feels better but I’ll check it tomorrow when it’s settled down.
Also did a root touch-up to do away with the stripy badger look.

After my recent disaster with DIY haircutting, mine is now a first fuzz after my GI Jane all-off. I can comb my hair with a towel, and after donkeys' years of difficult too fine hair, it is really liberating.

Babs758 Mon 15-Feb-21 14:04:10

I had a nice chat with my hairdresser and have booked in for May - might be a bit early but will judge it nearer the time. In the meantime I bought some scissors off Amazon and had a go chopping a bit myself... It is not wonderful but not a disaster and at least has got rid of the split ends. I use Clairol's Nice and Easy and not too bad!
