Why is a Jaffa Cake classed as a biscuit? It's made of sponge. Surely that makes it a cake.

Agree re the "ripe and ready" avocados. The same often applies to peaches - most of the time, they're not either.

Thin plastic bags to put your veggies in that won’t open.

Ring-pull cans. You need a lot of strength to open them and I'm terrified of cutting myself on the sharp edges.

And what to do when the ring-pull breaks off!

The constant reference to 'roadmap' at the moment - its a plan folks.

Dangly things attached to car mirrors. Surely they're a distraction to the driver?

Fringes.
I'd never have one as I dislike the feel of hair on my face. I've also grown more and more to dislike seeing a fringe on someone else.
I keep imagining how much better they'd look with hair off their face.
(I never say so to them, of course)

Oh dear god, if I couldn't have a fringe, I'd never leave the house! I can assure you there is no way anyone would think I'd look better without one!

Things that claim to be 'easy to clean' but aren't. Often they are kitchen appliances.

Hotel beds (remember those?) decorated with a line of pointless scatter cushions and a slippery bedspread that have to be stacked up somewhere before I can climb in.

Dirty public loos. Not that often these days but it still happens.

Itchy labels in clothes. My ‘silent’ kettle which sounds like a space craft taking off.

Big fancy baths in the middle of a hotel bedroom. ‘Open plan’ bathrooms in hotel rooms. At least give us a private toilet.

?? Stayed in a very posh hotel in Delhi once, bathroom wall was glass ?. It was a ? while before I realised there was a switch which made it opaque.

Noisy air cons. We bought a portable one that sounded like an aircraft taking off and switched itself on and off all the time so we took it back and got our money back. Paid more and got a wall mounted one installed, much better

The cushions and covers on hotel beds are useful when you want to sit/ lie down in the daytime to read or watch tv. The little runners across the bottom are to protect the bed from people who keep their shoes on.
