Which actors do you consider over rated?

I never liked Hugh Grant until I saw him in that thing about Jeremy Thorpe where he was absolutely brilliant. It changed my mind about him. Dare I say it, Meghan Markel? One dimensional.

Oh yes, LadyGracie, I can’t bear Caroline Quentin, she really annoyed me on Strictly, and years ago I thought she was awful in Jonathan Creek.

I never used to like Sarah Lancashire as I thought she always played herself, but I think she is getting better.

Yes, Julie Walters. She is often on the radio trying to force us to book holidays with Saga, and she seems to talk in the same irritating voice she used in many of her roles.

Mind you, I thought she did a good part a few years ago in a tv series set in India which was dropped early.

Hear hear with regards to Lorraine Kelly. You never see anyone run so fast to get the remote in our home!

I know she’s not an actor, but I find Lorraine Kelly to be the most fake, cringingly embarrassing person on television. Just a glimpse of her makes me run for the remote.

Another vote for Olivia Coleman. Enjoyed The Crown until she took over the role. Have really tried hard to change my opinion but I can't.

I agree Eloethan, that he was good as Jeremy Thorpe. That was the role that started me seeing him differently. Before that, he was the same character in everything I'd seen him in.
