Are they totally unaware of the effect their 'ill timed' and at times badly worded announcements have Annie. If this was a badly timed coincidence which I doubt, why on earth hasn't the broadcasting of the Oprah interview been changed?

If this isn't a example of attempting 'one up man ship' and demonstrating H's complete disregard for his GM, I don't know what is.

Yes I would agree summer love that would be my feeling, but none of us can know really. I think the way Meghan is talked about are as I have said rooted in an expectation of women that I dont share. Nothing on here has changed my view of that.

None of my comments are rooted in my expectation of women Galaxy. Had M been the princess in this case and H the one married into the RF, and his behaviour been the same as M's has been, my observations would have been the same.

But you know who doesn’t care about the Queen’s appointment diary? Americans, and American broadcasters.

If the special is shown in the UK on the same day, blame the UK broadcasters. But the Americans legitimately do not care. It’s an American show.

Now perhaps I’m wrong and this was all completely choreographed. But the point is we don’t know.

Commonwealth day is obviously not celebrated in America.

Summerlove You're spot on, we don't know. But the implication here is that there are two people who do know what day it is, and are privy to the Queens obligations and who could have, with a bit of Grace and dignity asked for the show to shown on a different day - maybe they did? We can't know that either - what I do know is that if it were me in that position I would have asked for the show to be pulled if it couldn't be rescheduled because respect for my very elderly, much put upon grandmother would have taken precedence. I can't mind read but I can have a strong opinion on civil, decent conduct.

I think the difference between the two programmes is who they are doing it for.
The Queen's address is clearly for the nations of The Commonwealth as always.
Meghan and Harry's interview is for them, and them only. It raises their profile as they launch themselves on Netflix and Spotify. They are not doing this because anyone needs to know about any of it. It makes not one bit of difference to anyones life, but their own future success depends on it.
I think The Queen will be business as usual, it isn't like her to throw any surprises.

The queens address makes no difference to my life either, I wouldnt have noticed it at all.
