Do GN explain reasons for thread deletions?

If you can remember the name of the title, you can Google, to find the reason. You won't find the thread of course.

I imagine it takes quite a while to check things out behind the scenes.

As far as I know, a message is always left where a thread is deleted, giving the reasons.

I’m afraid my natural curiosity makes me wonder about threads that disappear, particularly if I look for one and it’s gone.

Oh, I commented on that one too. I didn't think there was anything wrong with it, the poster interacted perfectly appropriately I thought.

Some of them are spam. I have reported a couple in the last week. Title and sender's name with nothing else listed, may not sound like spam, but if you had seen the text it was clearly someone trying to sell something,

I dont know the thread you are talking about, and don't want to know but it has been quite unusual on here recently, I think there is quite a lot of storytelling going on.

I know the one you mean Dinahmo think there were some doubts cast on the veracity of the OP. Hope you can read this quickly as I expect it will be deleted.

My experience is they simply disappear and a couple of days later you realise they are no longer there. I neither know and don’t really care why. Their prerogative as owners I think.
