Here we go!
Oh! to be in England now that April is coming.
Just managed to open up a free Word processor on this Win 10 comp.hoping to beat the dreaded GN -disappearing Lurgi! hmm
The Spring edition of “This England” quarterly mag. has just arrived full of the usual interesting articles and stunning photos, telling me that;
The Boat Race will be held April 4 on the River Great Ouse, Ely instead of the Thames because Hammersmith Bridge is falling down! shock

The Grand National is back to Aintree ,April 10 after missing in 2020.

“The Master of the Masses” Andre Rieu tours for 8 days 14-22 April

Not forgetting St.George of course, April 23. You can toast him with a “Bees Knees tasting Bundle (Gosnells)” consisting of seven small batch meads two pots of local honey used to make them and pre-recorded tasting videos “to watch at your leisure” Only 35GBP!
Cheap at half the price! . grin

So there you go! The only other thing to go with all that is weather!

We are suddenly truly in Autumn; only 18C, grey skies mostly, but no rain.
Let’s see if this transfers to GN without getting lost.

Hi Rufus, mead...yuk! We’ve had sunny days, chilly nights, rain tomorrow, colder in the next few days. Grand National won’t be the same without the pub sweepstake, two years running now, I’ll still have my £1 e/w, I won £100 in 2008. Saints continue down, the ‘r’ word is looming, if we don’t beat Sheffield next we’re doomed.
Stay safe ?
