So the general feeling is that it is Kate, but with a discreet female bodyguard.

Considering she had been recieving death threats it's a brave thing to do. I could not imagine M blending in so well that there was a "is it really her?" debate.

No it’s the truth not a general feeling. And there is no way ( quite rightly) that she would have gone had there been a credible death threat. She wouldn’t have been allowed and even more importantly she’s the mother of 3 young children and would never have risked leaving them motherless.

I still would have thought there might have been incognito security around, blending in like Kate also blended in. We wouldn't recognise them because they would be undercover.

19 OnwardandUpward, there probably were incognito security just as you describe. Not much point in being blatantly obvious if she’s trying to keep a low profile.

Of course there was security there. If Eugenie couldn't attend university or drink in a bar without her security, it's absolutely impossible that Kate would be permitted to attend any public space without hers.
