Good morning from wet and windy Colchester.
Today is our last day in this house. Last boxes to pack and a bed and dining table to dismantle. I wanted to get someone else to do this but DH insists he can manage and our removers had nobody to spare.
Online quiz with the family tonight and toad in the hole for tea to finish up the fridge/freezer contents.

Good Morning everyone from a wet Severnside. I can see some things have been blown around in the garden and my outside doormat I shall have to rescue from somewhere.

I had an odd night with my dreams. A couple of people who it’s doubtful I will see again were in it. ?

Some pottering and sorting to do today. I might even do some crafting. I really do need to shift myself more and stop wasting time.

I’m thinking of you all with worries and enjoy those treats Sheep ?

Good morning all, I can hear the wind whistling through the houses and trees but can see blue sky.
Brook I do consider myself very lucky that I have so much contact and close relationships with my family at the moment. When I read the sacrifices other GNs have had to make I count my blessings. The whole family is very close (4 generations) and we are looking forward to all getting together again. We have had many weekends together in some fantastic holiday houses over the years.
Yesterday was PT day which always gives me an energy boost first thing. Did some washing and ironing before I visited mum and dad and gave their kitchen a thorough clean and had my lunch with them.
I have my work appraisal this morning and then an online training session this afternoon.
Boys here, dog barking so must get up and get started.

Good morning from a grey Teddington. Windy, but fine at the moment. Food shopping today, and possibly some sewing. Zooming later with upholstery group, waiting to see whether the community centre will let us back in , possibly after Easter. Have the best day possible everyone.

Morning all from a very windy but dry south coast. Not as cold as of late.

Went out to put the bin out for collection this morning and found the front garden full of rubbish blown in on the gales during the night. The grass verge in front of our house is the same. I have cleared our garden but am hoping someone else more able-bodied than me will do the verge.

DH continues to improve but is unlikely to be home before the weekend. He is on light diet now and his drip and nasogastric tube have been removed so he is more comfortable. The staff are wonderful and he told them yesterday that he thought he might prefer to stay there than come home as he gets so well looked after( joking - at least I think he was!).

Hope the day is a good one for us all.

Morning Mick and all from a very blustery but mild Wiltshire. I’ve been down the lambing shed to do the early bottle feeds and to feed and water my woolly guests and luckily it seems that the gales haven’t done any damage. Next job will be to drive round the farm to check that no trees have come down on the fences. I think I’m going to have to tie little weights on the lambs feet this morning to stop them being blown away! Yesterday was exciting........I went to Tesco’s! Whoop whoop ?????! I actually put clean clothes on, brushed the straw and hay out of my hair and left the farm for an hour! In my excitement I may have put too many treat items in the trolley! Today is the start of the big clean up although not sure if I’ll start in the lambing shed or the house ..... both are looking like a bombs hit them, and then a couple of weeks worth of bill-paying and admin to do. I’ve got some ewes and lambs to turn out - although it’s very blowy outside, it’s mild and only showers forecast so they should be fine. I’ve still got the last dozen ewes that haven’t yet lambed loitering in the barn with their legs tightly crossed. I normally end up with a couple of ‘no-shows’ at the end of lambing but the dirty-dozen are pushing it a bit - I expect a few more lambs from them at least!

Off to work shortly and then not a lot else. I may ring the surgery to see if my blood test is back do I can make an appointment with the doctor.
Went out to see DSis yesterday with DGS snd we had a wet and windy walk and coffee in the bird hide.
It is sad you are back in lockdown Bella. I think a lot of mainland Europe is the same. It will end, it has to at some point.?

Good morning from a very windy E Kent. No rain, just gales. It’s horrible.
You’re right, pant, I have been about since about 0500. Benn awake for hours. Don’t sleep well, but have an hour after lunch...
Managed to finish my piccalilli yesterday, I got 18 jars out of my vegetables. All I need do now is wash them and make the labels to stick on. It is very popular with those who have had some. Personally, I think it’s not nice at all.
Spanish class today. I’m floundering. Our teacher is very sweet and terribly optimistic about my progress, but I manage. Much better at spoken language than the grammar.
Marydoll, I hope your enforced rest helped yesterday. Please, please don’t overdo thing... everyone else, I’m sorry but my memory is rubbish. You too have my thoughts and sympathy for your troubles , my rejoicing with your joys.
I hope today brings relief to those in pain or sorrow, and general wellness/happiness for another day dawning. ☀️☀️?????❤️

Good morning Mick and all to come. Weather in Malta much as usual, dry and 17°C. We have had some rain but nothing much.

The Maltese government issued new measures last night so we are back in lockdown which means I won’t be getting my roots done this morning as planned.

It’s disappointing we are back to square one again but it is the result of selfish people ignoring the rules and hence the cases have spiked.

I have an appointment for a CT scan this evening, not sure if it will still be happening so I will call to check before I go. I’m quite anxious about the late appointment as I don’t usually drive in the dark.

Good morning Mick and GrandMattie (I know you’re around ? seen your posts....). It’s very windy here in north Wales- LauraNorder must’ve thought ? I needed my cobwebs blown away!

A titivating day and not much else as we await our FMs destructions tomorrow- I’m hoping for a small easing of lockdown now that we have almost a third of our population jabbed.

Hope all having tough times have it easier today and will pop along later after I’ve caught up with Tuesday and Wednesday.....slowcoach ? that I am!

Good morning, Mick from a very windy Torbay. Although I slept through the blustery night, I suffered unpleasant, vivid dreams, perhaps due to the noise outside.

Yesterday at Wednesday Club Zoom with amdram friends, there was much enthusiasm from the director of the play which we hope will restart our theatre programme in August: Allo, ‘Allo. He recruited several attendees to be café patrons, which pleased those who haven’t been on stage for some years.

I trust everyone is safe and well and I hope that those with worries find some relief from their anxieties today. ???
