I certainly would never want Trump back in power, but have always had doubts about Biden since he was selected as the Democrat candidate.Both men are too old for the position of running the most powerful country in the world.

Is it worth pointing out that Donald Trump literally toddled like a two-year-old down a ramp and also climbed the steps of Airforce One with a piece of loo paper stuck to his shoe? He once dumped his umbrella outside the cabin door to Airforce One because he couldn't close it – the umbrella, not the door. I don't recall Joe Biden talking about the army taking the airports during the Revolutionary War, how the sound of wind turbines causes cancer, how introducing disinfectant and strong light into the body might cure Covid 19 and how he wanted to know the oranges of the Russia investigation. Donald Trump referred to his current wife as Melanie and designated the CEOs attending a meeting with their companies' names instead of their own surnames. He invented a country called Nambia and harangued the leaders of the Baltic States about their break-up of Yugoslavia and the establishment of the Balkan States.

He also repeatedly mentions the 1917 'flu pandemic which he claims brought an end to World War II; the pandemic started in 1918 and World War II took place from 1939 to 1945. He also thinks that the new stealth bomber is literally invisible, saying that "you literally can't see it". That must make it difficult for pilots to locate the cockpits.

I know who I think is mentally impaired, possibly as a result of mini strokes.

Can someone remind me how many Americans have been vaccinated in his first 100 days as promised. And how many times Trump encouraged people to not wear masks etc.....

Only time will tell on this I dare say. However next Friday will be interesting. If Biden’s live national tv interview goes well I shall come back on here and say so. And apologise for my doubts about his competency.

I’m beginning to think that I don’t want to exist in a world where people idolise Trump, are covid deniers and are anti mask. Along with seeing used discarded masks and rubber gloves lying round the village on a regular basis. Not sure where that leads me me, though.

Biden mixes his words up and has a fall. Things he has done for years, but just because he is in his late 70s you decide (and others, including one suspects Russian cybertrolls) that he has the early signs of dementia. You only make that diagnosis because he is in his late 70s. If he had been in his 50s you would have made a different 'diagnosis', probably drink.

Biden is 78. He has more to offer the US and the world than the slightly younger Trump ever did.

Wasn't Trump said to be afraid of stairs (part of the fear of heights) and germs he might come in touch with on handrails, etc. I'm not sure if this is true or if it matters but it was what was said. Killing off a large portion of his countries population seems far more worth laying at his door.

I haven’t attacked Biden for his dysfluency at all PippaZ. That would indeed be mean. His 3 falls (oh lawd, now I’m thinking ‘2 submissions and a knockout!’) were what shocked me when I watched SKY news.

It’s more than that. I just looked at the whole package and. began to think ‘hang on, this can’t be right’.

You did say you wanted Trump back I seem to remember. You cannot separate the two as you would not even be eviscerating Biden if he wasn't a politician. You would not have been made aware of him. President F R Roosevelt was elected President and served 2 terms after developing an auto-immune disease that left him in a wheelchair. He did OK. Biden is not showing any symptoms of dementia, why shouldn't he serve his term and make good decisions.

Even a sloth would be better than Trump. There are more ways of killing people than wars, nanna8. How many people died of COVID because of his indifference to the sufferings of other people. How many children's lives were destroyed by his treatment of Hispanic immigrants and their families?
