Good Evening Everyone
Our Neil phoned from Brisbane just now to say their decision to stay home for Easter was vindicated with weather up there being rain,....drizzle.....rain.....drizzle!
The large storm cells stayed off-shore apparently, so everyone was spared the predicted heavy dumps!
Grandson spent Good Friday in Townsville having worked a train up from Brisbane, but unable to return until being flown home the next day! But still being paid no end of allowances for not doing anything.
The Railway Unions certainly call the shots up there!
Jaxjacky Help! What I thought was “Dave’s Allotment Shed” isn’t the one I’m after; this is more a yuppy type of take-off and not very good. Dave was a middle-aged practical gardener and ran a TV series from his allotment shed. I’d love to find it again, but *if at first you don’t succeed!” etc.
Megs I’m sure it was very nice to catch up with family again, but probably not at a BBQ. I had to have a look at your message on Good Morning thread ( "that was a mistake"; normally steer clear) and sorry to read of your difficulties.
Is your cat the one that leaps on your face at 3.00am?
I could do with one like that, although perhaps a bit later!
The bedroom clock hasn’t been turned back yet, so I’m about to crawl out of bed, the penny drops and back I go for another hour or more!
I could easily get fussy over hot-X buns, but no chance; no Fairy Godmother these days!
Aveline Your long ” freeeezing” spell had me shivering before reaching the end; I was going to say that you couldn’t be in the “Cornish Riviera”, but judging from other posters’ weather reports anything seems possible!
The bouncy castle could have thawed you out provided you didn’t bounce off the parapet, but on the other hand it could have earned you a couple of weeks in a warm hospital with all found!
Oh dear! I must learn to put a sock in it!
Good Health Everyone;
