There is gossip, speculation, meanness and much else about both famous names and other posters on the politics threads too suzie but you join in with your comments on them, so why is this thread different for you? Why do you and a few others root so strongly for H and M as if they are a pair of saints?

I am going out in a minute but just for the hundredth time, I do not root for harry and or Meghan.

I’ve explained myself before. I have found the endless repetitive threads weird and so catty but I know I’ll be told I’m wrong so that’s fine.

This, exactly this.
It isn’t about seeing m and h as ‘saints’ ??. It’s a response to the seemingly endless unpleasant, nasty gossipy speculation.

It’s very sad really, because some people cannot get over the decision made by two people.

So wrong to criticise Meg and Harry but acceptable to mock
posters, Whitewave one of the first on this thread to mock
me.

Why don’t critics of this thread keep mocking Carrie what’s her name.

Yet another effort to get this thread closed as they have with previous threads

I think we should have a wooden spoon award, for fun you understand!

Yes, I enjoy reading about the Royal family and all of their shenanigans.
I am particularly enamoured with the pre- WW2 period.
I've recently been reading a fair bit about Wallis Simpson.

We don’t have the Discovery Plus Channel, maybe some of our American GNers can comment on what happened. I think it aired over the weekend.

Why do they post horrible comments? I have my own theories on that.
Yes Earnshaw all that you say is true, and I very much doubt that H and M are done yet, because actually they don’t really want a quiet life at all, they need to be noticed.

Who on earth would have that comment removed ? It’s nothing to do with guidelines.

Why are some posters so horrible to Annie and to me (and to earnshaw here) on these threads? I can accept you have different opinions on the subject but your contributions add nothing and just provoke dissent.

And I only came on GN to post a photo of my long coastal path walk, so I am certainly not sitting around waiting for the next M & H thread like some.

Some of us come on here to challenge such posts and redress the balance. And just stop telling us to go away, it’s really not acceptable and as a strategy it’s a massive fail

Amazingly nobody seems to have mentioned any weddings....
