Very brief this evening! Just caught up with some recorded TV soccer.
Joy of Joys! Man. City 2 v PSG 0
The boys certainly earned their pay in that one.! hmm
That red-carded PSG player, not surprisingly, in those conditions lost his cool and that was the end for PSG.
Now bring on Chelsea in the Final in Istanbul (not Constantinople!)
Had the C/H on; evenings are very chilly after 20+C days so I didn't shiver looking at that Manchester weather
reminded me of one of our members recently when she said she couldn't ever remember seeing snow in May. I can and now she's got an update to remember! May 2021. grin
Jaxjacky Already have a loyalty card with the hospital's cafeteria; buy 9 coffees and get the 10th. free!

More cases of vaccine blood clots, just to remind us not to become too complacent!!
My question is; if I'm taking blood thinners do I have less chance of getting clots.? Normally I'd say yes, but that's one for the GP next time we meet.

Good Health wine wine wine

Hi Rufus, there is a move to have the final at Wembley to avoid the travel, may mean some fans can attend too. Get my second jab a week today; cold with the odd shower today, the forecast for Saturday is end to end rain. Possibility of 17 on Sunday, then it drops down again.

NotSpaghetti Rufus is in Australia.

See you later Rufus take care ?.

NotSpaghetti Don't worry about me!. I'm over 18 so it's perfectly legal! grin

From Melbourne Australia where it is now 1.00am Friday May 7
You caught me on my way to bed; it's getting rather chilly now, but might as well have a nightcap!
Good Health again; wine

Rufus2 when you go for the vaccthey always ask if you're on blood thinners then go ahead anyway. Don't know why they ask unless, maybe, you might bleed a bit after the injection. DH is on blood thinners but all OK with him. We've had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. So far so good...

Megs36 Thu 06-May-21 17:14:26

Yes Aveline that’s exactly the reason they ask about blood thinners, stuck a bit of cotton wool on my arm just in case! Rufus. Don’t worry about clots, the chances are minimal , if you are so inclined the vaccine doesn’t cause them.
No reason not th have the vaccination when offered.
Cheers. ????????
