A few oldies I’ll always watch again:

Whistle Down The Wind

The Tamarind Seed - 70s Cold War thriller with Julie Andrews and Omar Sharif as the dodgy Russian - or is he? Partly set in Barbados. Very tense at times, but no blood or gore - and a couple of very good twists.

Blithe Spirit, delicious old comedy with Rex Harrison and Margaret Rutherford. Rex invites ‘dotty’ old medium (MR) round for a laugh, but is quite unprepared for what she conjures up.

And the original black and white Rebecca, with the wonderfully creepy Mrs Danvers.

I've recently watched Parasite which received many BAFTAS, and White Tiger.

I've posted this before but Goodbye Christopher Robin is lovely. There were two films about AA Milne at a similar time. One was with Ewan McGregor. This is the other one.

We sometimes watch films on streaming services but its really hard to know what we will enjoy and what we won't. I do not much enjoy murder and mayhem. We recently saw "Lion' which is not about a lion at all and is very good and very moving, and "Esio Trot" - which is delightful. Recommendations would be very welcome!
