Unwanted phone call blocker

Can't you just block the numbers you don't want to receive? My daughters often call me from different landline/mobile numbers to their own depending on where they're working on a particular day so there would no point in my blocking numbers.

Some time ago a gransnetter suggested an app to block unwanted calls. Only receiving calls on contacts list. I used that app but unfortunately, due to needing to call 999 yesterday, they apparently remove the app to enable them to call you back. Now I can’t find that app (I thought it was Waze but that’s a sat nav) and I don’t recognise any of the ones on the App Store. Can anyone recommend a good one?
