Gosh Rufus2- sounds like you're prepared for anything. Excellent range of transport around the house and ability to pick up anything you need to.
Hip op not till July but I'm one of those 'fail to prepare or prepare to fail' people. Meanwhile I'm walking as much as possible. It hurts but doesn't matter if I damage my hip more - it's destined for the bin!

Hi Rufus Sorry you are in another lockdown. Our family birthday month is April. My Mother, MIL, Daughter and I are all this month. Strong Aries women.

Somehow I don't think I'll miss gym sessions! Too boring.
They can stay locked down forever! hmm
My sock puller- on is the home-visiting nurse and you're quite right; it is good fun! grin
Your long grabber must be our "picker-upper" and very useful.
I've managed to acquire four over the years, now scattered at various points around the house and garden; literally very handy.
Plus two arm-crutches, four walking sticks , and two 4-wheel rollators.!
Beat that! grin Btw; when's your Hip-Hop?

Hi Rufus, no the ‘ear out to help out’ was last summer and subsequently, rightly or wrongly, blamed for a rise in cases. This is eat out and spend money, as we’ve just done, in the sunshine too, very lovely. It also means I won’t have to cook tonight, double lovely! We have good weather forecast for a while now, so I’ll be watering the greenhouse twice a day, good job the water butt is full.
Take care ?

Hi Rufus thanks for Cheer, but sorry about lockdown??
What is it with toilet rolls.......
We used to do bulk shopping in Costco and buy pack of 48 which amused the family but we had the last laugh in the first lockdown!
Hope you are not affected to much. Our weather is great atm ,long may it last.
Cheers ??????????

We just got used to being locked down. It still feels strange to be able to go out and about and into people's houses or restaurants. You'll miss your sessions at the gym!?
My various items of equipment have arrived in preparation for recovery from hip replacement. I can see how the long grabber will be useful but the sock puller on device looks tricky. Should be fun though confused

Lock me kangaroo down, Sport; lock me kangaroo down”!

Our new State anthem.!
with apologies to Rolf Harris!

As you’ve probably heard, we will be in our fourth Covid lockdown as of midnight tonight for 7 days; no guarantees it won’t be longer!
Number of +ve cases now jumped to 26. It’s the very virulent Indian variant.
Only allowed out for five reasons
No weddings, gyms; i.e. the usual shut-downs1
Panic buying of toilet rolls; what do they do with the stuff? Rhetorical question. so no need to answer!

Small businesses are really going to suffer this time because the Govt’s Job Saver programme has now finished, so no help with wages.
Produce that can’t be kept, e.g.in freezers will have to be dumped again!
Other States are closing borders so there was big exodus today by plane, road and rail to escape North

Jaxjacky The 10 pounds I mentioned referred to the Govt. voucher for you all to go out from Mon. to Wed. to spend “eating out!” Or has that scheme finished?
Football teams have also fled North even as far as Darwin to carry out Saturday’s fixtures.
What a carry on!

*Megs” Come on! You can’t get the blues now with all those June celebrations ahead; you’ll need to keep your strength up for all those toasts
June is your “massive” month. ours is/was July;
Mam on the 2nd,Sister on 5th. then me; then Dad on 17th. Brother was different, 29th Sept. Only me left, but I can still be M.C. and propose a few toasts; in moderation of course!

Pictures of the moon last evening on TV were spectacular; pity was cloud cover spoiled the view and we now have to wait 12 years for the next! hmm

Good Health wine wine wine
