I was brought up by a mother that saw no joy in sharing or preparing food, mealtimes were a chore and the dining table was a war zone,

I love that in the U.K now we are embracing cuisine and producing fabulous food and great chefs.

I’m sure CDWM has played a small part in that journey.

Ice cold Whispering Angel to drink with mini halloumi and melon skewers.

Gazpacho shots with wild garlic on Parmesan shortbreads.

Fillet of salmon with a lemon and asparagus risotto.
Green salad with a simple lemon dressing.

Passion fruit roulade.

British cheeses to include Snowdonia Black Bomber, Ma Singletons Lancashire, Richard 111 Wensleydale.
Fresh figs, dried apricots and Bath Olivers.

Coffee tea and a square of fudge.

All homemade.

I’m a pretty dismal cook but I’d probably do a starter of rocket salad with strips of beef, Parmesan shavings and balsamic . Then maybe a fruity lamb tagine (bbc good food). Dessert would be semifreddo all’amaretto.
I’d struggle with enetertainment but possibly some kind of word game ?
