None of the gardeners near me ( and there are quite a few as all the property on the estate are bungalows) seem to take away the garden rubbish other than if large trees are being cut down. Grass cuttings and general weeds get put in our green bins as our tip charges for small vans to go and limits the number of times one vehicle can go - to cut down on commercial waste going to a domestic waste facility.
You seem to want a lot of work doing so I expect it will be over £100 ie a days work. I paid £50 for pruning a few bushes which took the chap less than two hours.
Ours is £15 per hour. He has built me some raised beds, sawn (by hand) some small trees and cleared the pond too. He can do 10x the amount I can do in the same time.
If the person you employ needs to use a chain saw they must have a licence to do so.
You want it taken away so expect to pay more. They usually add on a fixed amount for that. Ours doesn't. We compost everything.
Get 3 quotes. There's lots out there doing this. I had 20 calls when I advertised for help in the local pages.
4 guys halved my old yew hedge in a morning and charged £400. I regularly pay a local girl £15 per hour once a week to mow grass, weed, prune etc. I can't really afford it but it is too much for me now and I still do a fair amount myself.
Hi how much would you pay a gardener to cut 4 small lawns bit long. 3 hedges cut lower. And tidy rockery and buddleia cut lower and all take away and 3 small conifers cut down. Thanks
