Good Evening Again; Lovely day today; very sunny, but still that chilly breeze! Not bad for Winter I suppose!
Sydney even further into the depths of despair. New cases increasing almost exponentially, although miniscule compared with your statistics.
Hot spots are popping up all over; Darwin. West Australia, but not Victoria I’m glad to say!
What’s wrong with J.Hs!? Had a brief look at their website and looked pretty harmless!
Nurse Rachel today said two of her acqaintencies belong, and the reason they door-knocked in pairs was for security. Of course they can’t do that now because of Covid, hence the use of Internet “meetings”
Apart from a few threads, including this one of course, many are beginning to pall
and so I’ve resurrected my Book Reading Club!
Currently reading “A Del of a Life” David Jason.
“Difficult Women A history of feminism! Helen Lewis
“The Hypochondriac’s Handbook” By two doctors, each with a sense of humour!
“Who planted that Damned Thing There?” Gardening laments!

As you can see, my tastes are very diverse! hmm

TV this evening has been The Tower of London again followed by Le Tour. Very nice camera work as usual, but shots of the Pelaton are a bit mind-numbing!
Roll on the soccer tomorrow!

Good Health wine wine wine

I'm sorry to hear about cases rising in Australia and hope the authorities can get control of it, especially as it's school holidays now. It did seem inevitable, somehow, all the locking down and a slow vaccination programme seemed to just be delaying the inevitable.

Have you had your vaccination yet, Rufus?

Cheers ?

Hi Rufus2. Things microscopically improving Covid wise here but Scotland is now a real covid hotspot. Grrrr. Why did we bother with all that self isolation and masks etc if massive football crowds are allowed to party.
Oh well. Not in a good mood today. New hip(s) coming up and just been to the opticians and found out I had cataracts. My genes are rubbish. Grrrr again.
Enjoy your books. Check out mine if you're desperate.
