Governments solicitor General has stated that "restrictions" could be reviewed if Covid increases.
All I can say is lets get out and about while we can and we have FOUR very bright sunny days to come. Just keep safe and take your litter home with you if the rubbish bins are full.

That seems to be a contradiction, though.

The spread of Covid is going to increase because people are getting out and about more, so encouraging us to do just that will only make it spread further and faster.

Oh dear!
This is like what I tend to do if I am knitting and close to running out of wool - I find myself knitting faster!

Look at the logic of what you are saying OP grin

Depends what you mean by getting out and about? I’m doing just that but in open spaces and not in large crowds. Or in well ventilated restaurants etc

Out in the good weather doesn't necessarily mean crowding together. We're meeting our neighbours in the garden this evening. Everyone is bringing what they want to drink. No sharing and we'll have lots of room to spread out. Social interaction is good for our health!

I'm with the OP here. Think of last year where all those crowded beaches in Bournemouth made no perceptible difference at all. The OP is not suggesting breaking what rules there are, just making the very best of summer while it lasts.
