Favourite saying from my adult Daughter is that “she is never too old for Spending Money”. She is over 40!
Any more, ‘never too old for’ sayings in your family?

Never too old to have a hearty laugh at what antics and shenanigans other GNetters get up to or go through!!
I love this site!

Vetnry I still love to play blast out soul music I danced to in the 1960s and 1970s.

For me, I considered myself never too old to go to a gig, especially to see a great rock band. In my 60s I saw my name sake MUSE live twice, both at stadiums.

MUSE gets blasted out in the car and at home. Fortunately our neighbours are quite a distance away. Matt Bellamy's guitar playing is phenomenal. Good to see others on here loving rock.

Never Too Old to have a WW2 website, plus writing various books for charity and being interviewed on TV about my WW2 experiences.

All this by the time I turned 74 and still going on today with many coming to me from worldwide wanting tales from the 1930s and through the war years.

I will be 92 in May if the Grim Reaper does not come knocking on my door before then and still being invited to various venues to talk about my life.

Yammy I gave up on stilettos when I was 19, roughly a year after I tried them.

To try and walk in a pair of LK Bennet stilletoes at a wedding, tried 3 times and not succeeded yet usually end up in bare feet.

You’re never too old to pass wind in the supermarket.
( A past hobby I was forced to give up as I can’t get out much now )

Never too old to climb a tree, until the bones don't feel up to it!
Never too old to become a naturist (I'm loving it now).
Never too old to feel like a kid again - if the body is up for it.
Don't count the years, count the blessings of what we can still do/are able to do. smile

Not too old to do anything, but am to decrepit to most of the stuff on this thread ? 53 with inflammatory ra, fibro & oa in both knees! Never to old to sport bright red hair, silver nose ring & colourful clothes though! I'm an aging hippy & always will be! ?

@Yammy. I’ve watched Gallipoli several times for the same reason !! There’s a very early Mel Gibson film called ‘Tim’ in which he plays a young man with learning difficulties, who meets and eventually marries an older woman. I think he was in his mid twenties when he made it, but I don’t remember that much about the plot because his looks at the time were spectacular, and I was too busy lusting after him !!

Glad I'm not the only one. The best for me was when he was in "Bounty. Fletcher Christian was born about two miles away from where I was which added something extra. I have seen "Tim", though he was losing it rather in BraveHeart only just .
The eyes have it!

used to love a swing and zip wire but grandchildren all grown up now.

did catch two kicks of a football when crossing the grass in the park and the ball came my way while the youths were having a kickabout and it came my way. ..I yelled 'I'll get it ' and gave a good kick of the ball and got a round of applause two days in a row.......never too old.

To play proper rock from our youth at volumes that make conversation impossible in the car ( or my Office/Hobby Room.
Proper = Cream/LedZep et al
Then Stadium bands from the 70s & 80s - and even Joe Bonamassa who is carrying the torch for real guitar rock these days (Sloe Gin anybody?)

Sit in paddling pool.

We had large paddling pool in our garden over weekend for two of our grandson's joint birthday get together.

Great way to keep everybody cool (as were the water fights
wìth super soakers)

Everyone had departed by late sunday afternoon and I sat with feet in pool with drink and a book bliss ??

Last night DH and I let air out and stored in garage.
Ahhh why......
Just back from supermarket absolutely boiled.?
I want to sit in the paddling pool to cool off.
