Do you remember....?

I usually have a good memory and can recall in general what we talked about last time I met a friend. I have noticed that the last few times I have spoken to my best friend she asks me the same questions and seems surprised by the answers even though we discussed these things last week. Then she starts to tell me news that she already told me on the phone. Am I being unfair here as perhaps she has a busy life or do you think she has a problem.?
Do you easily recall what you last talked about?

Possibly the onset of dementia?

Or could be that she talks to a lot of people about the same things and doesn't remember that she has already talked to you about them. If not she may need to see her doctor.

Guilty as charged. My niece says I’m like a parrot as I tell her the same thing again when I speak to her on the phone.
In my case it’s because nothing much really happens so if something is interesting it sticks.
That’s my excuse anyway.
