we have no shops left locally now Debenhams has gone, are there any recommendations for the best online sites something in the M&S price range.

I buy pre loved on ebay. I buy good brands in cotton and linen for a fraction of brand new price....

My Favorite shop on line is And other stories ... really good quality and I often buy things in the sale. Boden is lovely too. For basic separates I buy from Kettlewell .

Patra has some good clothes to order online. A lot in pure cotton which is quite rare these days

Also I like Roman originals. Very quick service and easy returns.

Lowley Mon 26-Jul-21 10:58:56

Since lockdown Toast, Cos, Mango, Sandwich.
We have Seasalt. Joules, Crew, Fatface, Quba, Saltrock in our small seaside town. Nice clothes, but similar casual look.

Landsend is fabulous, good prices especially on the sales. They have petite, average and plus sizes and excellent customer service.

Grandmajean Mon 26-Jul-21 10:55:47

Lost not list. Why does my phone always think it knows what I mean ? Such arrogance !smile

Lucy127 Mon 26-Jul-21 10:55:25

I like Lands End. Classic. Good quality. And they have an excellent money back guarantee - any reason, no quibble, no time limit. And the people are lovely.

Grandmajean Mon 26-Jul-21 10:54:22

Sandelf-as a size six I have been avoiding posting as everyone thinks it's easy to get nice things if you are tiny ( am only 4 foot 11) but I find Boden is good for dresses.
Have been very pleased with M and S trousers lately. Have a look at their Mia range. Boden t shirts good quality. M and S t shirt quality is dire for the most part. They have list the plot.

Loving Sosandar at the moment. Struggled to find tops that were not "Comfort Fit" and looked ridiculously big on me but their clothes fit well and look great.

I received an Otrium order today, albeit five hours later than predicted. (It fell out of the van at the depot, the driver had to go back for it!!?)

I spent less than £50 for three items from Sandwich, which would have cost over £220 at full price.
I'm delighted with my purchases.

They have 20% off their sale at the moment.

Lagenlook, has some nice bits too. Mostly linen and quirky

I seem to have a lot of luck with M and S although their trousers don’t work for me. I check the website or app a couple of times a week, always looking at the “new in” section. It’s easy to order and easy to return. I would also recommend Monsoon. Some lovely things and lots of good reductions at sale time.

I know I can't expect any sympathy with this! I have pretty average clothes tastes (don't want to look like a 14 year old) but I am a size 8 in most makes - I find it hard to get dresses and tops small enough in styles that look like grown ups clothes. Ideas?? I suspect I just have to learn to order VERY early in each season as by the time I have cottoned on that it's summer all the nice 8's have gone.

Sara1954 Sun 25-Jul-21 16:53:37

I like Gudrun Sjoden, not all of it, but there are several things in their new catalogue I’m tempted by.
I also like Sahara, and Hush

Gwenisgreat1 Sun 25-Jul-21 16:46:49

Try Roman Originals, or Klass

Babs758 Sun 25-Jul-21 16:39:17

Phase 8 for linen trousers.

Babs758 Sun 25-Jul-21 16:38:52

I love Sahara’s linen tunics. The tops are too short in the body but the size 4 and 5 tunics are great. Over the years I have bought some in great colours…

Just had a quick look at Otrium. Expensive delivery charge and even more expensive returns charge. Some positive reviews, also numerous negative reviews.
I'll be avoiding the company.

Aldom Sun 25-Jul-21 16:04:20

Just off to investigate Otrium

JaneJudge Sun 25-Jul-21 15:52:54

oh otrium look great!

Beckybooboo Sun 25-Jul-21 15:47:56

I’ve just discovered Otrium online. Already bought some white stuff clothes from them and saved a fortune.

JaneJudge Sun 25-Jul-21 15:45:08

I like Sainsbury's TU tbh

Lucca Sun 25-Jul-21 15:42:04

Marydoll

I have discovered the Otrium outlet, where you can find more expensive ranges at much reduced prices.
I have become hooked on Sandwich clothing from that site.

Ooh I shall look, I like Sandwich clothes

Yammy Sun 25-Jul-21 15:36:02

I like Seasal, Joules and Whitestuff and the odd Whistles. I used to buy Jaeger in the sales but find the quality has gone off now it is on M&S as has Ghost. My staples were CC Country Casuals, Precis petite and Alexon, unfortunately, all gone now. Oh and Wallis trouser suits for work you could put them in the washing machine.
