Evening All; As sure as night follows day, our evenings are becoming noticeably lighter Still cold though!
Megs Good to hear from you and I’m sure Fowey is still as nice as ever.
A recent episode of “The Hairy Bikers” was staged in Fowey, which I knew was called “Foy” (spoken like a true Cornishman!)
They then moved on to the “Eden Project” for a BBQ; another very interesting place.
I once applied for a job, with China Clays, which I didn’t get fortunately, when my heart was ruling my head. Having to travel on the o/night train from Paddington, arriving at St,Austell an hour late for my interview reminded me of how remote life might be, especially for Vera, as much as she loved Cornwall.
Staying on holiday in a place can be quite different from living there!
So we came to OZ. Such is life!
I’m sure your g.son will surface when you least expect it if he’s not tied up with the "Freedom" marchers. Can you not phone him?
*rafichagran” It wasn’t so much concern about the young “women” dying from Covid, but the “young ”,bit, because we have been bomb barded with official messages from Pollies and Medicos for so long stressing that the elderly are at the most risk, which is probably still true, but the demographics are spreading. especially in NSW.
Aveline Lovely picture; now you’ve almost converted me to being a cat-lover!
Their markings are perfect Why aren’t they allowed out? They’d be OK on some sort of restraint, surely!?
It’s now Chewsday here, so Best Wishes and watch your step!
Apologies for being late. Went to make a late-night cuppa; TV news was on with news of 2 more deaths in NSW, both gentlemen in their 80s; another daily record for new cases.
Sports commentators now screaming “Gold Gold,,Gold” thanks to our female swimmers!
Good Health
