There is a feature for US customers to do this but sadly (or maybe not) it is no longer available to UK customers.

You used to be able to go to Order History and click Download Order History. This downloaded a CSV (Comma Separated Variables) file which you could open in a spreadsheet package such as Excel or Mac Numbers. You'd then use the Sum function to calculate the total.

It may still be available to UK business customers under Business Analytics - not sure about that.

If you go to Accounts and Lists, Your Orders, you can click on every year you have ordered (mine goes back to 1999). All the things you have bought are itemised. It doesn't add them up though, you'd have to do that yourself!

I don't know where you'd look to find out (if you even can) but their Customer Service department might be able to tell you.

I once downloaded a spreadsheet from my PayPal account to look for a very old transaction and wished that I hadn’t!

I run a home accounts system on my laptop and iPad and phone, all integrated. I can assign categories and retailers to each transaction and it is all recorded separately and as a running total. I’ve done this for 20 years so I could theoretically look up every purchase and have a day to day total. I could do this to see how much was spent on clothing, garden centres, petrol etc. I would never have been able to afford the things that I have done over the years without being totally on top of every bean spent and saved.

Never used it, so no idea.

When they fist started they would give you q running total of how much you had spent on books. Guess they decided it was bad for business.

I have just started looking through my previous orders, interesting to see what I bought for my grandson since birth to now. All the fads and crazes, starting school , becoming a teen, now at 6th form its usually cash.

It would take a while but you could go to your orders and simply add them up, I cannot see anywhere that gives a total amount spent.

May do it myself if I get bored today.

I have been with Amazon for about 14 years and I was just wondering if there is any way I can find out how much I’ve spent with them over those years although it will probably be a very scary answer,I am very curious?
