Having just watched the amazing Charlotte Worthington and her BMX tricks I was reminded of my son as a four year old, he was given a bike for Christmas and was sad to find that the tricks didn’t come with the bike!

I am watching Declan Brooks winning his bronze medal. It is gymnastics on a bike. Astonishing. Well done the BMXers.

I thought that yesterday’s round was fantastic but it was only a taster. If you haven’t watched it I really recommend it.

Charlotte Worthington's 'big trick' won her the gold medal. It's absolutely stunning what these daredevils can do. They said that Declan Brooks was a stunt rider in Mary Poppins Returns! I gather that GB has a 13-year-old girl skateboarder competing. What next? Maybe better not answer that!
