Good Morning everyone, especially early birds Mick, Ash and Mattie, another beautiful day here. Well, the weather is, the day not so much. I’m off after breakfast for a bone scan and the afternoon involves dental treatment. Who on earth would go along with such a plan? Obviously I wasn’t paying attention when I made the arrangements. So…..it’ll be a Monday I shall long to see the end of!

To all the (more sensible) souls on holiday, do hope you’re having fun.
Sprinklers are on for the lawn, DH is doing breakfast and my shower awaits. No more procrastinating on this lovely thread for me……..once more into the breach, and all that. ☹️

Take care, dear people. Stay strong, stay safe. ??‍♀️??

Good morning from Shropshire.

Henry’s Christening went well.He loved the water on his head unlike his cousin a few weeks ago!My daughter had invited my childhood friend which was a lovely surprise?

Hopefully the rain holds off so DH can work in the garden today. We have a couple of days at home before another trip to West Wales later in the week.

We are heading into town first thing as DH’s glasses literally fell off his face into three pieces and are unrepairable. We luckily managed to get a cancellation at the opticians so hopefully not too long to wait for new specs??

Have a good day ??

Good morning from yet another grey day from E Kent.
Thanks Ash, Iris will love the bike!
I’ve just finished a top for her big sister, hope she likes it.
Same old, same old here.
Have a good day all, stay safe. ?????

Good morning, everyone, from a bright central Devon, for now at least. Yesterday was changeable so I brought the outdoor table inside to apply teak oil which naturally meant it didn’t rain for the rest of the day!

I found this photo on “Faceache”, as one of my friends calls it! It made me think of all the lovely folk on this thread and Iris, grandMattie, so I hope it brightens your day, too. An appropriate picture for today, from what Mick has posted!

Today, I’m making a flying visit home, mainly to attend my “Move It or Lose It” class. It’s less than an hour away and I'll take the opportunity to have a Zoom call with DH, olddudders, which isn’t possible from here with the unreliable signal. No doubt we shall discuss yesterday’s Hungarian GP; no spoilers but well worth watching with excitement from the opening lap!

To post this on the GM thread, I usually toddle on to the decking in my PJ's, hoping I won’t frighten the neighbours!! I wish you all a good week, with cares lifted and plans fulfilled. ???
