Hope you all had a “Good Weekend” Same old same old here!
Battles still rage between Queensland and NSW regarding choice of vaccines for various age groups. Lockdowns and “Bubbles” everywhere!
Can’t imagine Shane Warne taking to it kindly, although he’s probably not lacking in creature comforts where-ever he’s quarantining.
Jaxjacky I could hazard a guess, but what is the 100 series, which teams play and where do you go with your tickets?
TV News this evening announcing that Man. City will be forming an arrangement with Melbourne along the lines of a training school. That should be worh watching.
Haven’t heard of Grealish; He must be good!. Is he home-grown?
Have you tried converting your baby cucumbers into a cucumber “Smoothie”
Place in blender, cover with Guinness and stand back! I imagine the taste would be out of this world! confused

Which leads me on to your suggestion rafichagran of spending that trade-in money on something frivolous, although I'm not sure I want it just yet!
For some reason I was browsing “Coffins-Melbourne” and discovered that the $7,000 can open up a very attractive world, ranging from a cheap shroud to coffins and caskets, for cremation purposes!
I had to laugh at one advert for an “entry-level” price of $1,500.. Surely that should be “departure-level” price?
I think Michael Jackson’s casket with all the trimmings at $32,000 is a bit too frivolous! hmm

Aveline Thanks for mentioning the two old codgers and fishing, available on YouTube.
I meant to ask about your Hip-Hop. I assume you didn’t have a “local” nor even an epidural, but isn’t it nice to come around after the procedure in the recovery ward. with a nurse by your bedside1
My last experience was a voice saying “Talk to me Alan, talk to me”, thinking she was a Heavenly Angel”, until the penny dropped that they wouldn’t be talking with a broad Scotch accent! Not in OZ anyway! grin

Susan C. is returning to our TV screens next week and only the other evening we had the start of a so-called “new” series of, would you believe, “Midsomer Murders” with Neil Dudgeon’ No masks, yet the credits claimed it to be 2021. How do they manage that?

Now that the Olympics swimming is over, our marvellous girls must be on their way home with their gold bullion, bu we could be struggling for much more from here on in!

Lovely day today; Sunny,15C no rain, but all about to change to-morrow! sad
Oh well! Lily my cleaner comes on Wednesday, so a wet day tomorrow will give me time to smarten the place up.

Good Health wine wine wine

Hello Rufus
At last the heatwave has abated and guess what…people are complaining it’s cold!

Susan just had a recent series going round popular seaside resorts in the UK, very enjoyable. As to theNEW series of Midsomer, I prefer Neil Dudgeon’s , the new series has been going a long while , when, he took over from John Nettles as Barnaby , his ‘wife’ became pregnant and their little girl is now about three I think, so we judge how long it’s been going by that! ATM theJohn N.series is being shown again on ITV 3, Confusing or what

Cheers?????????.

Grandson in Sydney seems to be enjoying some new lockdown hobbies but not heard of vaccinations yet, have you had yours?

Hi Rufus, the 100
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hundred_(cricket)
We will be going to the Ageas Bowl, about 7 miles away. Jack Grealish is indeed home grown, born in Birmingham, joined Villa aged 6!
I’ve seen the police out in Sydney trying to ‘discourage’ people from Bondi Beach, apparently 25C encouraged the crowds.
Cucumber and Guinness, mmm, iron and vitamins, that’d get things moving.
Take care ?

Confusing or what
Megs Nice to hear from you again Hope you've recovered after the Wedding! smile
Confusing!? Don't you remember that episode before the hand-over where John Nettles was Chief Insp. and Neil Dudgeon was the villain? That required some concentration later in the series!
Now looking forward to Susan's next series !

No vaccs yet. Nurses still doing home visits, which I welcome of course; only been out once recently to podiatrist, then another outing to eye specialist for routine check-up in a fortnight; my social calendar is filing up rapidly! grin

Jaxjacky You couldn't avoid seeing police in Sydney the other week-end, 1,000 of them drafted in from all over!
That's how you put down the marching idiots! grin

Don't forget to burp into your arm-pit!
Cheers

Hi Rufus! Just saying hello, that's all.

Hello Rufus just got in so a very quick good evening.

Hi Rufus2 I had a spinal with sedation. It was OK. I came to at the same time as a man shouting loudly as he came to in another bay. I was embarrassed on his behalf then wondered if I'd been shouting too and, if so, what on earth I might have said!
I'm managing OK but everything has to be planned in minute detail. My grabber is very handy. Do you have one? Could be useful when out shopping on Freda. Maybe you could trade Freda up with your windfall? A Ferrari mobility scooter? Just a thought..
