It's not as simple as that to be honest. There were transwomen in that group but also I am guessing, gay men, straight women etc etc. Straight men online are certainly loving a chance to put women in their place. Some of the most vocal gender critical people I read are transwomen.

TRAs are, IMO, propping up the patriarchal system. If men can't succeed on their own terms they can push into women's sport, shortlists and spaces, where they can dominate. I agree that many transwomen are critical of this, as they can see how much it damages their chances of acceptance as people who just want to live quiet lives. Those chances are diminished with every story such as the one about the Pride incident, and they just want TRAs to go away.

I met my first trans women when I was 13, they taught me a lot.

I invite you to give an example of where you have 'pointed out disparities and falsehoods', as you keep saying you do. By that, I don't mean you countering one opinion with another, diverting the conversation, using a false equivalence or presenting us with a disconnected random fact (eg MW has 16 years' experience of 'dealing with violence'). I mean you showing a disparity (whatever that means in this context) or a falsehood.

I understand the term 'Nazi', thank you - I don't need to look it up. Your Gideon's Law comments may or may not have been used on this particular thread (as I say, it's like a game of 'I went to market), but you have definitely compared gender-critical thinking to the way in which the Nazis operated.

I was not using the term against you - that is another example of what others say being twisted, just as Molly's 'mob' comment wasn't about you. Instead of reading the posts you seem to just jump on a point and bat it back, which may explain some of the inconsistencies and inaccuracies in your posts.

These threads are rarely, if ever, discussions, unfortunately. You only come on to twist what we say and attempt to divert the conversation when you are unable to answer questions, and your acolyte contributes nothing at all - the odd insult, maybe, or some sort of proclamation of her virtue, but nothing that can actually be discussed.

Discussion is therefore impossible. We have said what we think, and the rest of our posts are responding to the way our words are twisted, or pointing out the massive leaps in what passes for your logic.

As for a slagfest - that’s rich, when you look at the names you have called anyone who disagrees with you. What is said against you is that your arguments don’t hold water, and that your opinions are anti-feminist and sometimes misogynistic. It is so funny that the people attending a Pride parade, which was advertised as trans-inclusive, who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, binary, transmen and transwomen, have now been labelled trans activist. Really!!! These are the very people you are supposedly supporting. You have apparently condemned them with no consideration whatsoever. If shouting at a man who knew exactly what he was doing is wrong then so is labelling everyone who attended a Pride event.
If LGB wanted to hold their own exclusive Gay event there is absolutely nothing to stop them doing so.

You’re right about the make-up of the group in Manchester Galaxy, and I know it could be reduced to the fact that it was only ‘a small percentage’ of gay men who were treated badly, but what I read on GN is that the following cartoon is true-well except there’s not quite such a big mob.

It’s now becoming more obvious that not only women will suffer. I saw a tweet from one gay man who said he wished he’s listened to the lesbians back when they were protesting in 2014 and a comment reflecting his treatment.“Yeah, well mate. Reframe your trauma, only wear the clothes you’re allowed to and don’t enter spaces where the mob rules.”
