My grandson is in his final school year and he is having to homeschool because of the lockdowns her. Today a van drove up to his house and gave him a lovely ice cream from the school. Apparently all the Year 12 students got one, home delivered !
I took some books back to the local library yesterday ( through the chute because it is closed) and there were racks and racks of library books outside and a lovely lady telling people that all the books were free to a good home and to take as many as I liked. They were good ones, too so I got some for myself and some for my husband who is sick just now.
Then on the news there was an item about our next suburb where they have set up a free food stall for those in need. How nice is that? Does your heart good.
It reminds me of the bushfires when everyone pitches in to help and donate money and goods. Sometimes good comes from bad situations.
