In the 70s I tried to be gender neutral with my two. I bought them a doll, taught them to sew…I simply tried to allow them to be themselves and expose them to different experiences.
They turned out to be stereotypical boys. Did I fail?
My DSs are the same, they can knit ,sew, cook etc. One of them irons better than me. But they are also football fans and that's not something I encouraged!!!
