Yes, this Old Man has come rolling home yet again, gathering no moss. he hopes, but totally overwhelmed and humbled by your good wishes in another thread.
I'm sorry to have kept you in suspenders for four weeks, but I was discharged from hospital only today.
Stupid fool that I am, I went to sit down in my electric lift and tilt armchair which was tilted too far forward and slid out on my bum.
Unfortunately, a glass of sherry was sent flying, smashed and inhibited my efforts to wriggle back without risk of serious damage, so the paramedic rescue team was deployed once again.
This time I spent a week in my favourite hospital's Accident and Emergency ward undergoing all the scans you could think of. followed by three weeks in a re-habilitation hospital
Not good news
That's another story, however.
Not much better news of Covid OZ style, either, but at least the hospital was Covid-free. and Man City had two good wins in my absence!
