Dogs on beds

Neen, she is absolutely gorgeous

DH and I are both light sleepers, our little dog is very nervous and reacts to every noise and if he slept on our bed I don’t think any of us would get much sleep. He has slept in his crate which is covered on three sides by a blanket since we first had him as a puppy. He goes in at 10pm and we never hear a peep out of him until my husband goes down at 7:30am even if there are noises such as thunder or fireworks. When we watched the tennis match the weekend before last he was later than usual and ran into his crate when we opened the door. This arrangement suits us but each to his own,

There was a young vet on one of the morning programmes last week. He saw nothing wrong with pets on the bed, didn't mind his dogs licking his face but drew the line at allowing them to lick wounds.

If you like to have your dog on your bed, why not. It can be comforting and also they keep your feet warm when it's cold

Well of course you have to talk to you dig be rude not to but not on the bed. He should have his own bed and not in you room its just not hygienic.

When I got her, I'd never had the breed before and she just loves company, albeit invades personal space and I love her company.

A no from me too but I have done in the past. I put my foot down and said not anymore.

I do speak the odd word of German to her too but she just tilts her head to the side !

I haven't had a dog for over 20 years now, but if I did have one it would be on the bed along with the cats.

I adore my dogs and your friend just doesn't sound like a dog person.
