Pyjamas or nighties (subject may offend)

Just put a clean pair on at night?

Or have a shower and put clean undies on?

Breaking wind v breathing ones bits…dilemma.?

Is it healthy to wear knickers at night (assuming they are worn during the day)? I thought it was recommended to let one's bits 'breathe'

Cant remember where I read it recently but they have examined the sheets of people who sleep naked and found large areas of Faecal matter on the sheets, apparently people ‘break wind’ at least 25 times……..
Not sure anyone wanted to hear that.
AnywY, it’s a tee shirt and undies for me, can’t stand PJ trousers wrapping around my legs.

I always wear nighties because I just feel trapped and very hot with pyjama trousers wrapped round my legs.

I like both, although PJs are nice to lounge about in. I generally take the bottoms of PJs off once I get into bed. If you're not going to have fresh pjs every day, you need to wear with pants of course.

Nightie and clean panties every night……I don’t go to the loo during the night.

Nighties in the summer warm PJs in the winter but would never lounge about in them . I undress right before bed and dress as soon as I have had breakfast and showered.

Pjs + a pair of knickers.

Got my new pjs on tonight. Just bought them from M and S they consist of two sets of bottoms ankle length and two matching t-shirts in light and dark blue.

I like a nightshirt with buttons down the front, easy to take off and on, hate pulling things over my head and I can have it on whilst open using deodorant etc. A light wrapround fits the bill too.

I wear nighties at home, but pyjamas if I`m away, and I wear knickers under them.

A cotton nightie for me. Pyjamas make me too hot. Although I wear with them if for instance am away in a hotel with a friend .

I like to lounge about in pyjamas, but wear knickers under them. I only wear the top and the knickers in bed, I get too hot with pyjama bottoms on.

Always nighties, never owned a pair of pyjamas.
Always white cotton, they used to be floaty, embroidered pretty things, now they’re just M&S.

Used to wear nighties but now prefer pyjamas. I tend to sweat in bed and get sticky thighs - find cotton pyjamas much more comfortable. Even when we visit family in India, or anywhere hot.
Never felt comfortable sleeping naked- same issue of sticky flesh

I can't image sleeping in anything, so nothing at all for me. I did experiment with pajamas but they weren't right for me - the legs kept on riding up!

Camisole nightie for me. Can't bear being trussed up with trousers in bed. Once I'm living alone again, I'll go back to nothing, but I don't want DGS rememering back in 20 years and thinking I'm an old flasher.

Nightie for me, can't stand not being 'free' - short and sleeveless in Summer, then longer with short sleeves- and longer still with long sleeves in deepest winter in our snowy mountains (we don't heat bedrooms).

No, the subject (pyjamas or nightie) doesn't offend, but if you have noticed that you still drip after wiping, how about staying in position a bit longer to finish dripping, and then using two wipes? Then you could wear nightie or pyjamas, whichever you wish.

A nightie like a large T shirt. Wear baggy leggings with them in the winter, plus my cashmere bedsocks.
Tried pyjamas but the legs are always too long and the tops too short.

Pjs here too. Have a bath about 4pm put a clean pair on, take them off to get into bed, put them back on when I get up, then do my cleaning in them and get changed into clothes about 10am.

Definitely PJs . Darling DIL calls them leisure wear - she often pops around to find me still in them late morning , even early afternoon if not going out !
Should say I'm not talking PJs of the 50s .
No way could I sleep in them though - in the buff thank you -nothing to tangle you up !

Night dresses for me, pyjamas make me feel bundled up.

M&S cotton or cotton jersey Nightdresses have always been my night attire ?
