I remember quite vividly many comments defending the irrational idea that Meghan’s father was a victim of her estrangement, despite this waste of space selling his own daughter’s private communication to tabloids. The deep hatred of the young woman led many on Gransnet trying to paint him as some poor victim of a fame-chasing daughter who discarded him, as though some had lived with the man and knew their family dynamics better than she did.

It does not surprise me that Thomas Markle was charged with some of the worst crimes a human can be charged with because his low character has always been well-documented. Yes people on here saying Meghan was being a heartless prime donna for cutting contact with her father when her motive was protecting herself and her children. Family members can also be victims of those guilty of crimes such as this.

According to the BBC this “story” has been broken by her half-brother and some newspapers, a few days ago.

She (Meghan) claims she was made aware of this story back in 2018, by the police, but was assured that it would be fully investigated.

Looking at the BBC News, no, I don’t think so.

I don’t like the way Meghan and Harry have behaved to the RF but this revelation about her father does stack up and make sense of their attitude towards her father. Nothing is proved yet, of course but it doesn’t look good although one has to ask why nothing has been done for 8 years. We also don’t know why the son has raised this again now.
