I wish that conflict was settled with wooden soldiers on a hobbiest made wooden board war terrain with rolled up paper for bombs and pea shooters for guns.
I wish I hadn't smoked for the last 41 years since the age of 11 and given myself COPD. (But glad I am on my 8th day of being smoke free) :-)

LucyLocket55 I feel exactly the same as you today. My SIL is so horrid my daughters call her Myra Hindley.

I wish that two of my teenage grandchildren who are both troubled and troublesome would grow out of this troubled and troublesome period in their lives immediately.

I wish that my husband, who is not the great love of my life but we have been married for quite a long time, didn't have terminal cancer.

I wish that my daughter could have peace of mind and a smoother ride.

I wish for a small apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean, and close to my granchildren. (perhaps a lottery win would accomplish that)

I wish my childhood included horsey equestrian experiences. Instead, I lived by reading and dreaming. I'm sure I would have been an Olympic contender.

I wish to go places on my bucket list before knees, hips or budget give up. My joints are actually pretty good, but not sure the budget will stretch.

Muse just a suggestion why don’t you see if any grans live in or around your area you could have a meet up. There are always requests for meet ups without giving exact locations.

Thank you Redhead56 ? . I tried when I first joined GN in January but no response except someone who had moved from Cornwall.

Recently, someone sent me a pm regarding Cornwall. She lives an hour's drive away but we plan to meet up. Cornwall is a long county!

I left my best friend behind when I moved from Derbyshire 7 years ago. We still ring occasionally but it's not quite the same.

I'd be up for that. Let's remember!!
