Hoping no-one else has done this.

We need to get things organised for soop's return.

I managed to find the GFM page and made a donation. The money is mounting up and I hope you’ll get your operation very soon soop.

Tomorrow we go north to join my husband’s family at the funeral of DH’s mother. We’ll drive up tomorrow and the funeral is on Friday. Our two sons are also travelling up, but our daughter is in New Zealand and cannot travel. She considered it but she would have to quarantine in a hotel on her return, and it is very expensive.

Goodnight everyone.

‘Evening All’

A late one from me. I’ve been cut & pasting a message about EllanVannin to the many posters who had p.m’d me today. Such lovely messages about this lady - if you’re reading EV you’re ears ought to have been burning!. You are held in such high regard by many of your ‘virtuals’ on here.

Even I managed to find the drop bot fund so you are hopefully on the way soop. I do hope you sleep well tonight and that Sweetiepie decides to pop in tomorrow.

Dogsand BladeA sending you best wishes to get over your nasty coughs and throats - it is that season unfortunately flowers
Timely retirement on Mr BA ‘s part - just in time to take over running the home while you rest up BA .
SueD I hope your home comforts have been restored? Please let us know if your power is back?
Last but certainly not least dear soop - help is at hand. You must feel the warmth of all our wishes as we rush to donate and help you get the treatment your nasty condition requires.
God Bless. ?

Good evening dear Kitcheners, this really is a special place. The DropBot Fighting Fund is off to a flying start! Hopefully our lovely Soop will soon be on the way to a much-improved quality of life. I’m struggling to keep my eyes open so I’ll just say good night and TOYA

Sorry to hear your news with your DH not well at all Gaga I hope the situation is improving ?.
Congratulations are due to anno, a new life and your husband BA another new life in a way ???
A day of phone calls in my volunteering role, it’s fulfilling and frustrating at the same time.
Raining here and MrJ has gone watch Southampton play, I’ll keep the heating on a bit longer tonight, he’s a Leeds supporter, loves live football, so watching my team.
I’m heartened by the response for our soop ❤️
Enjoy your evening all.

So much lovely news on here this evening what a lovely friendly warm kitchen this is.
Soop I second GG13 post entirely, you’ve helped so many people in the past, now is our turn to help you as much as we can.

A big congratulations to anno and your DGD, a new great grandchild to look forward to - how exciting!

Sorry to hear about your DH health concerns Gaga I hope he’s getting appropriate treatment and things improve soon

That sounds like an awfully long journey home, Grannmarie but so pleased you’re back now and hope your PCR test result is through soon

Im excitedly packing and repacking my case for our trip to see DD1 and family in Cambridge tomorrow. We’re on the early train from Inverness to London and then back out to Cambridge. Can’t wait to see them all!

Hope SueD has power back soon!

Good afternoon dear kitcheners. I am so pleased to have just read about your Go Fund Me page soop so I popped right over to make a little donation ?. I've got a horrible chesty cough and almost no voice but lft was negative - just the nasty winter bug that's doing the rounds. So ....my dear other half Mr BA retired yesterday ?? What a happy bunny he was with no work this morning!! He has however got a long list of jobs which need doing!! I'll keep him busy ??. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday

I am a very occasional poster on GN and never before in Soop's Kitchen but I have been following the other thread and thought I would pop in. I am saddened by what you have had to endure Soop and humbled by your grace, humour and courage. I have donated to your GFM page and wish you well with the fundraising. By the way, the photo on the GFM page is lovely ?. X

Very happy to have helped flowers

GrannyGravy13 Wed 01-Dec-21 16:41:55

Dear soop your kindness to others over the years has helped many through worries and troubles. It is good to be able to help you now ???

annodomini Wed 01-Dec-21 16:41:02

The best email ever arrived today with a copy of my DGD's 12-week scan. I'm to be a great-granny in June next year. When I last saw her a fortnight ago, she was very cheerful and really well, despite having MS. I've known for six weeks already, but today she has made it public. I'm so excited!

Aldom Wed 01-Dec-21 16:37:17

Good luck with Go fund me, Soop. Hoping donations continue to roll in. I found it very easy to use the GFM site. It must be very encouraging for you Soop, realising just how much people care. GN at its very best isn't it. smileflowersshamrock

soop Wed 01-Dec-21 16:36:14

I may need to lie down in a darkened room. I most certainly will be raising a not-so-wee dram to you lovely lot later this evening. I haven't felt this hopeful in a very long time.

smile flowers moon
