I've just watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga for the third time, and i have to confess that Dan Stevens makes me go weak at the knees ( usually it's low blood sugar ).
I thought he was beyond brilliant in Downton of course, gorgeous in The Guest, loved him in Blithe Spirit, but the sight of him cavorting round to The Lion of Love almost gives me a heart attack !
How can anyone look so tasty ?
I'm also heartbroken because it doesn't appear to be out yet on DVD and i wanted to buy it for myself as a Christmas treat !
Who do you lust over ?

Cary Grant .....always.

Nigel Havers
Clint Eastwood in his early days
Daniel Craig

Patrick Swayze used to do it for me, but I think James Norton is his replacement! Mmmm

Cillian Murphy is very easy on the eye. I also used to lust over that French actor who played Robinson crusoe on that old black and white tv series. But i was probably about 10.

Jason Momoa - reminds me of the kind of men I went out waaaaay back in the day, Its not even muscles, its his smile , his hair, and his absolute devotion to his lovely wife, that I find appealing . Aahhhhhhh-swoon x

Dabi

I was hoping to hear someone say, 'my husband' hmm

I think that to lust after your husband would be a bit odd
(Even odder than lusting over, lovely as he is, Graham Norton)
Also, I think that there’s quite a difference between lusting and fancying
I’m definitely a fancier

Anyone watch the TV Series Keeping Faith? Mark Lewis Jones won my heart. I follow (not stalk!) him on social media and he seems really quite lovely.

Ignore Theoddbird- obviously a joy killer....and seemingly past it....?

My hubby. He's my toy boy at 10 years younger than me. Been together for 13 years now and still fancy the pants off him

Nannan2 Wed 17-Nov-21 12:13:16

Dabi- ??- Nah!

Nannan2 Wed 17-Nov-21 12:12:32

Tom Hiddleston, especially when he lets his hair grow a bit. It’s all curly. I used to lust over George Michael, even though I knew he was gay. I remember a group of us (all women) having a very raucous conversation about him during a pottery class.

Denzel Washington
Anthony Hopkins
Andy Garcia.

Sean Connery always did it for me, especially in a Kilt, plus that sexy voice

Recently though it’s Claes Bang; the Danish actor who played Dracula in a recent BBC1 series. He is absolutely gorgeous ❤️

Used to really like David Cassidy back in the day too...i met him years later after his 'come back tour' in the hotel, we chatted a few minutes & he let me have a quick peck as we shook hands.Such a lovely sweet man.?

nahsma Wed 17-Nov-21 12:06:54

Bill Nighy and Yanis Varoufakis

When I was a teenager it was Dan Blocker from Bonanza, then it was Brian Dennehy now I suppose apart from my husband it would be Sean Bean.

Fannycarnforth sorry to disappoint but Philip Serral is not particularly pleasant, quite arrogant and rude to shop staff. My main crush has to be Bryan Ferry and in more recent years Johnny Depp especially in Chocolat. Also lusted after the young David Essex and now the lead singer in the 1975! Seems even now I'm old I still like a man with long hair and eyeliner?

Nannan2 Wed 17-Nov-21 12:03:55

Oh it has to be Chris Hemsworth every time..his brother Liam looks a lot like him so a close second..And yes Graham Norton too.I love a blonde...oh and Jon Bon Jovi is still looking good for his age...and Johnny Depp...you've opened up a can of hunks now Jeanne....???

LizzieDrip Wed 17-Nov-21 12:02:55

In the past, Freddie Mercury and Leonard Cohen - both sadly departed nowsad. Fortunately I saw them both perform live, back in the daysmile. It was their charisma, creativity and intelligence that I always found attractive rather than conventional good looks. My secret crush now is David Mitchell - there’s just something about him!

Bluecat Wed 17-Nov-21 12:01:29

Benedict Cumberbatch. Very lovely, and has that dark, silky voice...

Runner-up would be Tom Hiddleston. I would also like to join the queue for Rufus Sewell, please.

FannyCornforth Wed 17-Nov-21 11:55:33
