Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but dry and misty here in brackley this morning.
Today usual trip to Bicester today , also later I want to do some food preparation like making a cottage pie .
Did Banbury yesterday and got new ABBA cd.
But even Banbury as a town is going through changes with new town centre facilities .
Take Care,
Mick

DH delivered to nursing home in time for lunch, thanks to help from a WI friend - this is when not having local children is tricky. At present I just feel overwhelming relief that he is safe and that I can let go of responsibility for a while.

Sympathy to Jax and family - what a difficult time. Ray

Good morning Mick and all from a dull Lancashire coast.
My brother in law is in hospital in the south very unwell and his companion also unwell on oxygen has been taken to see him by my DD who is a good girl, being very busy herself after moving to a new flat and keeping two jobs on the go.
I had a nice meal with long time close friend on Sunday night and he came back with me on the train and the next day we pottered around Suet on Sea then had another meal. All my meals seem to consist of fish…
I’m making arrangements for the front of the house to be repainted. I don’t mind the shabby chic look, but even I am starting to feel rather conscious of it.
Off to music club soon so will do a few la la la warm ups.
Thoughts to jajacky and grannysomerset

Good morning Mick, Annie and all. I have a load of washing in and hoping that the day will stay dry enough to hang it out. ?
GrandMattie, lovely description of you colourful journey yesterday, but I did laugh at your "Strip to the dump" ?
I am waiting in for a chap, from the local garden volunteers, to see if they can fit us in. I do hope so, it will be wonderful.
GrannySomerset, you have a stressful day ahead. Let's hope all goes well .

A late good morning from a rather grey and dull South Yorkshire. There’s a hint of breeze, so perhaps it will brighten a little, though I’m not optimistic about that happening. Don’t you think it makes the whole house look dull when it’s so grey outside, or maybe that’s just me?

Not a lot on the agenda today really, but must stir myself to clean the front hallway rug as it looks a bit grubby.

Cottage pie sounds a good idea Mick, just the thing to have at this time of year.

So sorry to read the sad news in some posts this morning and my thoughts are with GrannySomerset ? and with Jaxjacky ?.

Take care, everyone.

Oh dear so many sad posts today?for you all.

Dull and dreary today, tree chaps came yesterday and MrOops dragged me out to see how they were doing, something woody and very sharp and pointy went through the sole of my shoe and straight into my foot. So very sore! Hobbling around now, but couldn’t walk on it at all last night, himself showed me how to use MissOops crutches (which are still here awaiting her next op) he fell over after slipping on the wooden floor! Silly chap.
Anyway, foot has stopped throbbing and is just painful to hobble around on. I had plans to do so much indoors today as well.
GD has a (slightly moving) pic on a Doc Martins advertising campaign, she is surprised as the local shoot was beginning of last year and she hadn’t heard anything about it until yesterday.
Hugs for all those who have so many things to worry about. You are all in my thoughts.
