I have noticed that Camilla is walking behind Charles is this correct as he isn’t King?

I came in a bit late with that. Have to say I agree about Harry. Wonder if they did a DNA test before he get married and that resulted in M going back to the US of A in a huff because she discovered she had married a frog and not a prince? (It's been a long day.?

Talking of fingers and hands, a photo of the Queen on duty today wearing a nice dress, but why are her hands so purple?

Ooh, yes. They do look purple but then so do the hands of the bloke with the scrambled egg all over his jacket.

Love HM's dress.

I obviously differ in opinion reading this thread. I think the best C&C can do is walk hand in hand onto a plane to join H &M. Both women are alike and the men they roped in deserve them. Leaving the job to William and Kate who are worthy of taking the Queens place when she steps down.

I also agree with the above so nothing as simple as the block. Hung, Drawn and Quartered awaites me. As long as they throw a quarter into the Solway Firth I don't mind.wink

He might be the spitting image of his Spencer cousins but he looks nothing like his father or brother!

Or either of his grandmothers or grandfathers or Dianas brother Charles or Diana herself and definitely not Prince Charles.
My own two offspring looked nothing like me and I was often asked if the were adopted. As they have grown older and my hair darker both get comments about how much they resmble me in looks and attitude. Poor Harry only seems to have inherited his mother penchant for using the press to up his anti in a not very subtle way.
I'm on my way to the tower Lucca someone has to speak out for the plebs.sad

My DH walks at the speed of light! I'd need some tips from Usain Bolt to keep up with him ?

Walking behind is useful if there are land mines just saying

Calistemon Thu 18-Nov-21 14:12:19

?

MissAdventure Thu 18-Nov-21 14:08:36

Well, I do have rather a fetching beard. smile

Calistemon Thu 18-Nov-21 14:02:46

I'm sure if I pulled that face and took a pic I'd look similar.

Are you a Royal, MissA?
Which side of the bedclothes?

Do I have to curtsey when I read your posts?

Alegrias1 Thu 18-Nov-21 12:58:36

Ouf!

Unfortunately its a hereditary monarchy so we get who we're given.

Is the Queen stepping down? I missed that.

I think the palace though (and the private prep schools as they grow up) do teach them things like that in the 'ettiquette' about walking behind, etc...outdated now really, but i suppose it sticks with the posh set, its how they have always done things i guess.?

Zoejory Thu 18-Nov-21 12:40:52

I like Camilla

MissAdventure Thu 18-Nov-21 12:40:12

My mum was beyond angry when I didn't agree that Kate is stunning.
It's all opinion.
None of it really matters, to them or us.

Nannan2 Thu 18-Nov-21 12:37:21

Beautiful?I'm not sure thats a term for Camilla really..Horsey maybe??

Zoejory Thu 18-Nov-21 12:36:58

Philip, Charles and Harry look very similar.

If anyone wanted to question parenthood, (why?) one would wonder about William far more.

If this is just due to hair colour, well, that's just silly

Ailidh Thu 18-Nov-21 12:32:01

In person, Prince Charles has the most amazing blue eyes.

At formal functions and introductions, if the Duchess of Cornwall went ahead of him, just imagine the "Who does she think she is? " screams and pitchforks!

When Prince Harry looks sad or contemplative, he is the image of Prince Charles across the eyes, nose and forehead.

I didn't vilify Mrs. Parker Bowles, nor was Diana, Princess of Wales ever the queen of my heart; I just felt sorry for everyone involved.

How can you anyone say that Harry doesn't look like his father? I agree about the brother. I look nothing like my sister either. Thank goodness.

But Harry looks so like his father and grandfather. William is clearly more of a Spencer

lemsip Thu 18-Nov-21 12:01:43

this is developing into a rehash, rehash and rehash!

Parsley3 Thu 18-Nov-21 11:22:17

Charles and Camilla are much less formal in public than the Queen and Phillip ever were. Camilla takes his arm, they hold hands etc. I hope this is an indication that Charles, when he becomes king, will drop some of the Royal etiquette nonsense that we have grown accustomed to.

MissAdventure Thu 18-Nov-21 11:04:03

Anyway all of this is unimportant really, unless we are slowly working around to this being yet another Meghan bashing thread, isn't it?

I saw Chaz and Cam walking together yesterday on the news, holding hands, because they were hauling eachother up some steep steps. smile

MissAdventure Thu 18-Nov-21 11:01:02

It's all a matter of opinion.
You've only to look at the thread on who women find attractive to see that tastes vary widely Reginald Bosanquet smile

Forsythia Thu 18-Nov-21 10:50:02

Harry is unattractive as he ages, inside and out.
