Gosh, some ladies on here use very expensive hand creams! I’m delighted to receive some lovely scented hand cream as a gift but nothing will persuade me to pay more than I do for the Norwegian Formula which does a great job and also lasts ages - and when it seems to have run out I cut the tube in half and get at least another week’s worth!

I swear by the Clarins hand cream, at £23 for a large tube that lasts me almost a year as a little goes along way , it also prevents age spots etc .

I agree, in fact it was recommended to me by a Scandinavian dermatologist.

I use Aesop hand lotion. It’s expensive but a large pump dispenser lasts for ages and you don’t need a lot.

I was going to say that for many years I used Boots Glymiel Jelly. (I think that's the correct name)
It was in a glass jar, and wonderful, then it just completely disappeared. In my last post, I couldn't remember it's name, then it popped up. Does anyone else remember it?

Aveeno isn’t expensive and is very good. There are lots of inexpensive but good hand creams available. I use hand cream every time I wash my hands. Current ones in use are Neals Yard and Dove, one upstairs and one downstairs.

Gardeners Honey hand cream is good , I have used it for years now.
Aldi are selling a Hemp one, but I haven't tried that, yet.

I love Aveeno lotion. Use it for everything!

I use L’occitane Shea butter hand cream in the winter months. It’s very good for dry skin. It’s about £22 but you don’t need a lot and I’m just coming to the end of the one I used last winter.

I like Neutrogena Norwegian formula too. Inexpensive, effective and lasts ages. Also comes in unscented which I prefer. Everything seems way too perfumed to me these days, apart from perfume, funnily enough, which doesn't seem to last as long as it used to. ?

Lizzie Arden 8 Hour hand cream or Vaseline Intensive Care which is cheap, cheerful, and works.

I like Atrixo and Aveeno. I think very frequent application works best .

I love Body Shop hand cream, especially almond. It's about £12 (which I think is expensive)

Another for O’Keefe. I buy the one for feet too. Excellent results. Boots sell this product.

This is very good often on offer elsewhere

I use O’Keeffe’s working hands because come winter my skin splits around the nails. My son has the same condition this cream does really alleviate the problem.

I'm also a fan of Soap & Glory it has a beautiful smell and works well.
