full moon and eclipse due FRIDAY in the morning

Too cloudy here too but there was a lovely photo of it during the weather forecast on BBC this morning

I love the thought that it is the shadow of the earth on the moon

Well...... have to say I was disappointed this morning but that stunning moon I can see out there right now makes up for it. Amazing.

Not a cloud in sight, so should be perfect.
And we have NO light pollution at all up here in t'mountains.

Its very cloudy here and has been all day. I have been out some hours and not seen the sun break through once! It's not usually this cloudy.

Can't see anything here in Germany as the moon has already gone down for today.

I am shocked that it is not even mentioned on the BBC news - I scrolled down the science page right to the bottom, past the squirrel stuck in a birdcage and there was not one single mention. Am watching it on YouTube

It was huge last night

I went out into the road in my dressing gown to see if I could see anything, but sadly not, it’s too cloudy, I’m disappointed.
