Why is it that technology is getting more complicated? My Kindle used to be brilliant but now it has so many bells and whistles I am totally confused.

My mouse died..... ????️?... I bought a wireless one... Awwww man... Im happy as a sandboy... ???

Try mentioning your problem on Twitter and highlighting the Lenovo tag. I've found this to be really helpful. Companies don't like to have their shortcomings publicly highlighted and respond far quicker than via phone or email

My Chromebook has to be recharged much more often that it used to need. I could buy a new battery, but wouldn't have a clue how to put it in; or I could buy a new laptop. Or I could go on using it plugged in, as it is at the moment. Decisions...decisions.

These examples are exactly the reason why I have been stalling over buying a new laptop.......mine is getting really old and slow and doesn't remember things as well as it used to rather like it's owner.

I saw a post by Luckygirl3 the other day and took offence that someone was using a similar name. So glad it's really you!!

I have sent a complaint to Lenovo and copied it in to You and Yours. Can anyone think of any other consumer programmes that I could contact. I just feel that others need warning about this; and I am furious that they say it is my fault when they sent it to me telling me to update!

It is not your birdbrain - it is the fact that everything technological is getting more complicated!

I should stay in bed because I have a new computer and TV. Nothing is simple for my birdbrain these days.

Same here Luckygirl when I saw a thread with your name I automatically thought something happened to you! Luckily that’s not the case!

Oops - no, not died - still up and running.

My laptop ceased to be when I downloaded an update - it was a Lenovo laptop and a Lenovo update. They wanted to charge me to try and mend it; including £30 carriage. My computer guy said it was not worth sending it as it was dead beyond repair. I am about to have words with them!

OMG, don't do that! I just saw the word 'died' and thought we were getting bad news!

It always takes me a while to fathom out how a new laptop works - even more confusing because I sometimes have to use my husband's PC whereas I work on a Mac.
