Johnson's style is popularist and honed to appeal to the common man. All this bluster and inattention to detail will not go down well with Business men. Embarrassing, really. He is getting very near to a political crash landing.

Not just business Men! Or even perhaps business Women?
I am a common woman and he certainly has no appeal for me. Never has. He is an embarrassment.

This car crash of a speech illustrates his total disregard for preparation. He’s evoking more like Trump, people laughing at him rather than with him.

Is he ill, is he drunk? It is hard to imagine how it could be this bad.

I think he had probably overdone the vino at lunch, which added to his eccentric persona made for a rather strange speech.Not that he’s ever a smoothy with a speech at the best of times.I always assumed they had speech writers for this sort of thing, but obviously not.?

I’ll be honest and say I really can’t stand the man. It was excruciating to watch - once was bad enough. The news channels kept showing it and I almost felt sorry for BJ. I really really wonder why he is seen as a “great orator”.

Imagine having all that expensive education, all the advantages he has had, all the expertise and help that must now be available to him and still being so utterly pathetic at the job you have spent all your life chasing.

Calistemon, I'm out of touch with PP. My grandchildren have all outgrown her. Once, when I was with my family in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Peppa was doing the rounds of the children's play area. The children were quite put out and overawed because 'Peppa' was full adult size inside the outfit and the kids would have expected her to be about their size!
Sorry - I digress.
