‘Tis the season to be silly ( or almost time) so once again am inviting one and all to the grand Christmas Ball at Lemongrove Manor
These shindigs need starting early as there is so much to do!
Lord Lemongrove has been busy testing mince pies and pigs in blankets ever since Cook took them out of the oven this morn. What a man!

There will be rooms for those who wish to stay the night, and
Carriages at dawn for those who don’t.

As usual it helps if your offerings are in alphabetical order, but the more sherry we consume....tchblush
Stay and chat awhile if you want to and if pushed for time just state what you will bring ( then I can tick it off my to do lists.)

Here is the address for forgetful heads and newcomers...
Lemongrove Manor
Much Ado Inthemarsh
Nr. Rumpling in Parva

Out of bounds areas where everyone will go 'cos they've been told not to.

No entry signs, to hang on the door if you need a bit of privacy for anything!

Jumping Jack Flash …..he isn’t. By the time he gets here it will all be melted.

I agree! What a lazy man he has become in his old age.
Ice is ideal for all the gin and tonics, will somebody be a sweetie and run to to ice house for more, we are running low.
Look, old Dodders the butler has already been there and is tottering back with a wheelbarrowful...the ice man cometh!

He usually runs to the Argy and hides in a barrel in the cellar if there is any work to be done.

Galoshes for galumphing around our estate, I once had to chase Lord L right across the deer park when it was his turn to empty the dishwasher.

TillyTrotter Thu 16-Dec-21 16:56:51

Ooh I’ll need a packet of those Mollygo.
Best glassware - we always save ours for special occasions. Although there are a few on the party list who I would not trust a crystal glass champagne flute with …….. least said the better! ? ?

X rated loos? That only happens in The Argy!
Xtra refined here at the Manor, there are knitted covers for the loo rolls, old magazines ( circa 1957) to keep guests entertained and a candle, in case the lights suddenly go orf ( as they often do out here in the sticks.)
