‘Tis the season to be silly ( or almost time) so once again am inviting one and all to the grand Christmas Ball at Lemongrove Manor
These shindigs need starting early as there is so much to do!
Lord Lemongrove has been busy testing mince pies and pigs in blankets ever since Cook took them out of the oven this morn. What a man!

There will be rooms for those who wish to stay the night, and
Carriages at dawn for those who don’t.

As usual it helps if your offerings are in alphabetical order, but the more sherry we consume....tchblush
Stay and chat awhile if you want to and if pushed for time just state what you will bring ( then I can tick it off my to do lists.)

Here is the address for forgetful heads and newcomers...
Lemongrove Manor
Much Ado Inthemarsh
Nr. Rumpling in Parva
Cotswolds

Hurrah and huzzah, muse!! sunshine Do you have a fleet of Hunter jets?

(I tried my hardest to shovel helicopters and hovercrafts in here, but I don't think they'd get us far...).

muse Tue 30-Nov-21 18:41:45

Glorious sunshine. I'm flying you all out to Australia, didn't you know !

LauraNorderr Tue 30-Nov-21 18:28:52

Zertainly Charley ....in fact more than a haunch, we have a whole deer in one of the freezers.
The gigantic antlers have been mounted by Lord L in the great hall. He’s a keen mount-er of almost anything.

Is a haunch of venison on the menu? As I am on my own now I rarely ask the cook to order it etc.

AcornFairy Mon 29-Nov-21 14:36:42

YIPEE!

X rated movies will be shown in the morning room (or in this case, the evening room) I can recommend ‘Confessions of A Gamekeeper’ ( I play a cameo part in this.)☺️

lemongrove Mon 29-Nov-21 14:04:58

Well, Mrswoo those are just Lord L’s labradors, there are usually a few skulking under the vast mahoghany dining table, so be prepared to have any bare toes sucked or knees licked.

TillyTrotter Mon 29-Nov-21 13:21:42

Visit from Santa Claus on the evening. ?
Form an orderly queue please to sit on his lap and tell him if you’ve been naughty or nice. ?

mrswoo Mon 29-Nov-21 12:21:57

Uninvited guests under the buffet table making unusual noises will add some fun!

Purplepixie Mon 29-Nov-21 12:05:40

Thank you for the invite. Can I bring along some Corned beef, leek and potato pie please? I love the purple wrapped choccies as well so you can share mine. This is fun!

Saint Nicholas will hopefully be there - would someone make sure that Eartha Kitt song is playing - just to give him some ideas.

kittylester Mon 29-Nov-21 10:29:52

Otherwise, there is MY Rufus Sewell.

annsixty Mon 29-Nov-21 10:17:17

Oranges studded with cloves for the mulled wine, very seasonal.

muse Mon 29-Nov-21 10:04:22

Now that’s a pity ixion. I think I’ll offer my nanny nursing skills.

Nut crackers for those walnuts.
