Seen a few posts about the white stuff on gransnet. We don't have any here in South Devon yet sadly. So do you have any, where are you roughly, and do you love it like me or hate it with a passion? Do tell
Frozen snow in Derby. I put out warm water and food for the birds and this is very early in the season. The birds have a lot of crabapples but I felt they needed some suet.
Quite a heavy snowfall here in Long Eaton in the East Midlands. Still covering hedges, roof tops and our car this morning although the road is clear. Looks lovely but don’t like to be out in it. Hope it goes soon.
It's just beginning to thaw and I'm hoping to be able to sweep the snow off the car because there's a birthday card I need to buy and send urgently! I am trying to post a snap of the view from my window this morning.
It looked like sleet here this morning in West London but the sun is now out and it is bitterly cold. I like snow falling a little at Christmas when I am nice and warm inside but loathe it at other times. Dread walking in it especially on icy pavements as I often fall and am really worried about falling and breaking a limb. I am beginning to get a real phobia about that these days as I get older and wobbly. I try to find the right pair of boots with soles suitable for snow and ice but to no avail!!!
none here in poole but we rarely get snow here because it all falls on the purbecks before it gets here ☹. i love it and have my fingers crossed we get some this winter.
Oxford - crunchy slippy white leftovers from last night which are gradually melting. Love it. It's the only time my garden looks as good as anyone else's!
Light covering but heavy frost in East Midlands. Message early this morning to tell us golf course unplayable! Staying in and trying to keep warm, decided good opportunity to write some more Xmas cards.
