Actually even the Daily Mail says Harry didn't introduce the Saudi millionaire to Charles and that Sentebale and Harry severed ties with him after the first donation when they realised the motive was questionable. Perhaps those castigating Harry and Sentebale which does great work in Africa should read the facts before they suggest returning money badly needed and taken in good faith

I'm sure this is all going to be spelt out in Harry's dreaded autobiography. In fact I think the whole book might be a catalogue of revelations (from Harry's viewpoint) designed to make Charles look unfit to be King.

Apparently Harry accepted £50,000 from that donor for his charity Sentebale. Maybe he should give it back.

Was the £50,000 accepted on a promise to open a door ?

Harry didn’t leave his family because of a little illegal activity though did he? And no, if someone in my family was doing something illegal I’d speak to that person, and depending on what the activity was, I’d hope try to support that person to do the right thing, whatever that might be (depends on the crime, I think.) What I wouldn’t do is go to the National news and broadcast my family difficulties to the world. I may however involve the police, as I said, it would depend on what had been done.

To go back to the original post I wonder how many of you would condemn a son who left the family and when it subsequently was revealed that his dad had been involved in a little illegal activity (say embezzlement) spoke out about it? Wouldn't most of you think he was doing the right thing? So why is Harry wrong? Is it a class thing? Is it a Royal thing? Is it in fact one law for them and one for the rest of us?

No, I’m sorry trisher, disliking what someone does is not hatred. Harry is not hated, well not in any of the posts I’ve read anyway, but posters don’t like what Harry has done. Remember the instruction to dislike the sin, not the sinner. Please don’t misconstrue what I’m saying, I’m not saying Harry is a sinner, I’m saying it’s not hatred of Harry, it’s dislike of what he does.

Hatred is a very strong word, an emotive word, and is best used sparingly in my opinion.

It's a bit worrying if the difference is not apparent. It's rather worrying that the assumption must be that anyone hates someone because of their actions.

Hatred is not a word I would use about a person even though I may not like/really dislike/hate/abhor what they do.

Harry and Meghan come into the first category.
